The asset of the “Access for all” foundation is its motivated, competent employees. They contribute with great commitment to the promotion of barrier-free technology use by people with disabilities.
Markus Böni
Managing Director
Markus Böni has been with the “Access for all” foundation since 2023. As a wheelchair user, he encounters a wide variety of barriers on a daily basis, which must be overcome whenever possible.
More about Markus Böni
Markus Böni has been working at Pro Infirmis for seven years with the aim of reducing such barriers. His area of responsibility is the inclusion office in the region of Eastern Switzerland and the Canton of the Grisons, which is committed to a diverse and versatile society.
He is professionally as well as personally committed to a self-determined and autonomous life for people with a disability. He would like to improve his knowledge in the field of digital accessibility and to link the different projects of accessibility.
He likes to spend his free time with his family. He can often be found outdoors in the mountains, where he always takes his camera with him. He also enjoys watching ice hockey games – whether live in an arena or comfortably in front of the television. Markus Böni also loves to listen to music or read a book.
Elea Bornand
Intern
Impressed by a screen reader demo and the way people use it to interact with computers, Elea Bornand specialized in the field of human-machine interaction in her master’s degree in psychology. She is focusing on accessibility issues, for example as part of her Master’s thesis on plain language on websites. With her Master’s degree in sight (winter 2024/25), she is looking forward to pursuing this focus in her internship at “Access for all”.
More about Elea Bornand
She lives in Basel, walks and takes photographs – here and elsewhere. Every week, she enjoys the challenge: what awaits me in the vegetable basket I have subscribed to – and what do I prepare from it? She also enjoys singing in the choir.
Anja Herrmann

Anja holds a degree in social education and has many years of project experience as a CRM consultant in an international environment.

Andreas Uebelbacher
Services Director
Andreas Uebelbacher has been Services Director at the “Access for all” foundation since 2012. He is co-leader of the accessibility specialist group at the eCH association.
More about Andreas Uebelbacher
Andreas has been fascinated by technology since his childhood (he rejoices at the sight of a C64), but early on he realized that technology has to be oriented towards people and not the other way around. At some point he switched from “mainstream” usability/UX to accessibility. No matter how often you fix the system there, it always ends up in an inaccessible state, and this is a topic he can put his heart and soul into. In his free time, he likes to ride his bike or inline skates, among other things.
