Manu Heim is mainly responsible for communication and event management at “Access for all”, together with Thinh-Lay. From 2019 to 2021, she was employed full-time as an accessibility consultant and study leader at “Access for all”. More about Manu Heim

Her first contact with digital accessibility goes back to 2008. At that time, as the person responsible for online communication at the ZHAW, she attended the CAS Accessible Web Design at her own university. Since then, she has remained true to the topic. In her view, accessibility is also a kind of precaution: Sooner or later, many of us will experience limitations of various kinds. By then, at the latest, we will also be dependent on accessibility. That’s why she also likes the motto “Accessibility is essential for some, and good for all of us”.

Manu lives in Zurich with her husband and child. In her free time she likes to be in the mountains. She loves winter and would love to spend it in Lapland every year.

Andreas Uebelbacher

Andreas Uebelbacher

Services Director

Andreas Uebelbacher has been Services Director at the “Access for all” foundation since 2012. From his original area of expertise in usability/UX, he brings many years of experience in how user needs can be efficiently integrated into projects. He is co-leader of the accessibility specialist group at the eCH association.

More about Andreas Uebelbacher

Andreas has been fascinated by technology since his childhood (he rejoices at the sight of a C64), but early on he realized that technology has to be oriented towards people and not the other way around. At some point he switched from “mainstream” usability/UX to accessibility. No matter how often you fix the system there, it always ends up in an inaccessible state, and this is a topic he can put his heart and soul into. In his free time, he likes to ride his bike or inline skates, among other things.
