The internship at “Access for all” lasts 6 to 12 months and takes place as part-time (2 days per week).
An internship at “Access for all” allows you to get to know the activities and the daily business routine. During the internship, you will gain insight into the topic of accessibility and learn the basics of accessible websites and applications. In addition, you can learn how to effectively and efficiently use assistive technologies or deepen your current knowledge with expert assistance, if needed. For example, you will learn how a screen reader works.
Due to the workload, the internship can be completed as a supplement to another job or training. Before starting an apprenticeship or study, an internship is a good opportunity to learn or deepen the adept use of computers and assistive technologies.
