2011 Accessibility Study

How accessible are Swiss websites? What are the reasons why one million inhabitants of Switzerland who are affected by a disability still have to deal with (unnecessary) barriers on websites? What needs to be done to improve the situation in the long term?

Answers to these questions are provided by the 2011 accessibility study, in which the “Access for all” foundation tested one hundred websites of the federal government, cantons, the ten largest cities, federal-related companies, media, job boards, universities, public transport companies, Internet TV offerings and online stores for their accessibility for people with disabilities. The study was conducted for the third time after 2004 and 2007.
