Within this three-hour course, we will show you which tools people with disabilities can use to surf the Internet, which barriers they encounter, and what you can do to prevent such barriers.

- First introduction to accessibility
- Accessibility overview (target groups, range of disabilities, standards, significance, assistive technologies)
- Legal framework, WCAG at a glance
- Disabilities and requirements on visual level, e.g. color blindness, alternative texts, color contrasts, color usage
- Requirements on semantic level, e.g. headings, lists, tables, operational elements, etc.
- Keyboard operability
- Overview of testing tools
- Accessibility Developer Guide
- Accessibility in the project process
- Raising awareness of accessibility
- Screen reader demonstration of Internet use by a blind person
- The content is similar to that of our in-house courses
