Right before the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) came into effect on January 1, 2004, we prepared the first Swiss accessibility study in cooperation with Namics.
Sixty websites relevant to visually impaired and blind people were examined. These websites included those of the federal government, cantons, cities, and some providers from the private sector. The results were presented at a media conference at the Internet Expo in February 2004.
The 2004 accessibility study was published as a brochure in German and French and is out of stock.
